Society teaches us to set resolutions in a way that isn’t very powerful.

Throughout my life, I have set many resolutions.

Sometimes they failed, and I was left feeling frustrated.

But …

Sometimes they succeeded.

And throughout this process,

I have discovered a …

How to Set Resolutions That Actually Work For You

About half of the population sets resolutions, but

Less than 10% of people actually follow through on those resolutions!

And it’s not our fault because the way we are taught to set resolutions is not very powerful.

Today, let’s address

3 Reasons Most Resolutions Fail

Most resolutions fail because they are generated by external values rather than internal values.

We are taught to create resolutions that …

Society tells us we should have:

  • We should lose weight
  • We should enhance our body image
  • We should make a lot of money

The problem with setting resolutions with these external values …

Is because there is a deeper part of us that doesn’t really care whether or not we actually achieve them.

And when this deeper part is not fully on board,

We are drastically less likely to follow through.

Most resolutions fail because they are created with our thoughts rather than our emotions.

We think about what we want to achieve and perhaps we’ll even write it down,

But the amount of energy produced by our thoughts and brains

Is only a fraction of the amount of energy produced by our emotions and hearts!

When we create our resolutions with our emotions, we produce much more energy to follow through.

Most resolutions fail because they are focused on ourselves rather than others and the world as a whole.

We focus on what we want to achieve.

  • I want to lose weight
  • I want to enhance my image
  • I want to make more money

And although it’s great to experience a transformation yourself,

When you can see how that transformation extends to uplift the people and world around you,

So much more energy and conviction is created for you to follow through.

There are 3 primary reasons most resolutions fail:

  • They are generated by external values rather than internal values
  • They are created with our thoughts and brains rather than our emotions and heart
  • They are focused on ourselves rather than on how they can impact the world around us

Now, onto …

The Blueprint to Create Resolutions that Actually Work For You

Set aside 5-10 minutes to be silent and still.

Remove yourself from the external world and …

Tune into that deeper part of you and …

Let IT show you what it wants to pursue.

Then, completely immerse yourself in the experience and emotions of having transformed into this Higher Being.

  • What do you hear?
  • What do you see?
  • How do you feel?

And when you are completely immersed in this experience,

See how it extends into the lives of others …

And eventually into the world as a whole.

Finally, when you come out of this experience,

Commit to one action that you will take …

To bring this Higher Being into your Reality.

Then, go out and …

Perform that action from the same emotional state as you felt during this inward experience.

And when you repeat this process consistently:

  • Letting your deeper self show you what it wants to pursue
  • Immersing yourself in the emotions of having accomplished it
  • Extending your impact into the lives of others and the world around you
  • And taking action from the same emotional state to bring it into your reality

You follow through on your resolutions and become the Higher Being you are meant to be.
